Pamela Manley is a project manager in the Gerontology Institute at Georgia State University, where she oversees the NIH grant-funded research project entitled, “Meaningful Engagement and Quality of Life among Assisted Living Residents with Dementia” (Principal Investigator, Dr. Candace Kemp). Prior to this role, Pamela was a graduate research assistant for Dr. Chivon Mingo in her research of health disparities affecting aging African Americans with chronic health conditions. Pamela has aspirations of becoming a faculty researcher and is interested in studying quality-of-life concerns and mental health issues in aging minority populations.
