The American Choral Directors Association is the largest professional non-profit organization for choral director’s and singers in the world. Founded in 1959, its mission is to inspire excellence in choral music through education, performance, composition, and advocacy.
The Georgia State University Singers applied (via blind CD audition of unedited recordings from the past three years) to be selected to be a featured performing choir at the 2016 Southern Division Convention in Chattanooga, TN. Of the 113 choirs that applied, only four mixed (Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass) collegiate choirs were selected. This is quite an honor for GSU.
The performance is scheduled for Thursday, March 10, 2016 at 11:30AM in the Tivoli Theater in Chattanooga, TN. Please join us in cheering on this fantastic choir!
